Our Location
Our church is located just across Memorial Bridge from the main town of Lewistown. We are part of the Juniata Terrace Boro community. If you know where Wilson's Meats and Groceries is you can find us!
Sunday Morning Church...What to Expect
Join us on Sunday morning for a Worship Service at 10:00 AM. You may be greeted at the door by a member of our greeter team or someone else that simply wants you to feel welcomed as a guest. Find a seat in our Sanctuary where the service will begin with a prelude followed by a welcome. We sing numerous worship songs throughout the worship service. Don't worry, if you are not a singer, don't know the songs, or just not sure about the meaning and purpose for worship you may choose to simply observe.
We always take time during our service to worship through the giving of tithes and offerings. We have ushers that will pass an offering plate but if you are a guest, please do not feel obligated to give. Our offering is for those who attend our church regularly and are committed to faithfully give to the Lord and support the ministry of our church to the community.
We have some very gifted vocalists that minister through special music, have occasional children's sermons, and a few other elements that are part of the service at times. The morning message (sermon) takes place each week which is based upon God's Word, The Bible, and preached in a way that is relevant and applicable to our lives. Our service typically concludes between 11:00am-11:15am
What About My Children?
Great! We love children and believe they are not only the church of tomorrow but are also part of the church TODAY. We have a nursery (0-2) to the left of our lobby when you enter where qualified and approved childcare workers will care for your child during the service. If you have a preschool-elementary school aged child they will sit with you during the service but are then welcome to go to Children's Church (age 3-3rd Grade) about halfway through the service (before the sermon).
How Should I Dress?
Every week we have individuals that dress very formally (suit coat and tie) and others that are more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. Come dressed in what is comfortable to you and you will be ready to worship with us.
