The first 8 verses are familiar. Some are familiar with them because they know a song from 1965 by the Byrds. How many people have heard that song and didn't realize the inspiration was actually found in the Bible.
When you read the verses you will notice that there are positive things and negative things. There are good seasons and tough seasons. There are moments we celebrate. There are moments we mourn. This is what life is: ups and downs/ highs and lows. The consistent thing in the midst of all of it is God. He is with us on the mountaintops. He is with us in the valleys. God knows how long each season of our life will last. God knows what good may come next through the season- even when we can't see anything good at all. Maybe you are in a good season right now- don't take it for granted, be truly grateful and enjoy. Maybe you are in a tough season right now- know you don't need to walk it alone and that there will be an end to this season and a new season will begin. Cling close to God and learn all you can in the tough seasons. The difficulties you face in this season can one day be part of your testimony of God's faithfulness and how He got through.
