Our Re-Opening Process

After a period of being shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are now opening various ministries back up. Here is the latest information regarding what we are doing:

Worship Services In The Church Sanctuary

In order to follow proper distancing, we will be doing two Worship Services every week through August 30. The two services will be as follows:

  • Thursday Evening (6:30pm)

  • Sunday Morning (10:45am)

  • Sunday Morning services are also being Live-Streamed

Other Ministries

  • Vacation Bible School (VBS) will now be a one-day event on Saturday, August 1 from 10:00am-2:00pm (August 8 rain date)

  • Sunday, July 12- Sunday evening youth resumes

  • Sunday, August 2- Sunday School for all ages, Children's Church, and Sunday evening services resume

Service Attendance Preparation (As we navigate COVID-19)

We are excited to be opening our building for our worship services together. Although things still won't be quite the same as "normal", our goal is to remain cautious, create a safe environment, and provide a meaningful worship experience as we gather.

  • IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL, PLEASE STAY HOME AND ENJOY OUR ONLINE SERVICE

  • If you do not feel comfortable at this time gathering with people, enjoy the online service and come when you are ready. We will still love you and will welcome you when you feel ready!

  • Spread out (safe social distancing- 6ft.) in our Sanctuary seating area. To facilitate distancing you will notice every other row has been closed to seating. Families do not need to distance from one another but please distance appropriately from other attendees that may be in your row.

  • Attendance at our services at this time will essentially be "TOUCH FREE" which means the following:

    • We will not be passing an offering plate. You may drop tithes and offerings in either of the offering receptacles at the back of our Sanctuary or continue to give as you have over the past three months (mail or online)

    • There will be no bulletins or paper distributed of any kind. Access a basic electronic bulletin for upcoming services HERE

    • Please follow signs for the "entrance" and "exit" doors which will be propped open

    • Bathroom doors will be propped open and should remain this way (privacy is still achieved)

    • Please do not enter other rooms that have "do not enter" signs in place

    • Our water cooler is closed at this time. You may want to bring your own water bottle.

    • There will be no coffee/hot water provided at this time, however, feel free to bring your own

    • Seating in our lobby area has been removed to follow appropriate distancing. WE DO ENCOURAGE conversations with each other following safe social distancing, especially outdoors before/after the services

  • There are no children's ministries at this time during the worship service, however, you should not let this prevent you from coming and bringing your children with you. We are very kid friendly and understanding squirming little ones in the worship service. :-)

  • Masks have somehow become a very controversial topic. Due to the request of government and health officials as well as CDC recommendations, we prefer you wear a mask when you come to our Worship Services. We encourage wearing a mask at least until you are in your seat and properly distanced from others. Please, let's be sensitive to one another and refrain from being distracted by debating the validity of masks. Let's also not judge one another based on the choices that are made. You may find this article helpful as you contemplate decisions to make.

  • Greetings: We know you really want to hug and shake hands! Since we can not do that at this time, we are giving you three fun alternatives to engage in: (watch the video to see Pastor Bill and Zoe demo)

    • Bow/Curtsy

    • Air High Five

    • The Bow
