Psalm 144

Verse 3-4 is a reminder that we should be very humbled when we consider that God wants to have a relationship with us. We need to always have a reverence and awe of God as greater than us. We are called to a personal and close relationship with God. This is amazing to consider that God is concerned for us as an individual even amidst of the billions of people on this planet. He knows us by name; he knows everything about us. We are wise to not forget that it is not to our benefit in any way to try to bring God down to our level. We need God for everything; He needs us for nothing.

v. 15-Happy are the people who God is Yahweh (CSB), "blessed are the people whose God is the LORD" (NIV). Do you feel happy to know God? Do you realize how blessed we are simply by having a relationship with make of the universe?
