This Psalm reminds us of how powerful and wise our God is and how He understands all things. He knows each and every star in the sky and calls them by name. When I look at the sky on a clear night I am amazed at the beauty of the stars and can only imagine how many there are. When God looks at the stars, He also knows how many, and which one is which in the sky.
He looks down on the Earth and looks at people
the same way. He knows who each individual is in this world. He has a good plan for each of us, but sometimes we decide to go our own way and make up our own plans. The question we need to ask is who we will look to for direction and guidance. Is it going to be God whose understanding is unlimited knows no bounds? Or we will lean our own understanding? We as people sometimes don't even know what we don't know. We may think we are being wise and yet are completely blind to what we are missing in regard to our choices and the outcomes. Yet, God sees all, knows all, understands all, and can work out any and all circumstances for good as He so chooses.
