When you walk into the lobby at Lewistown Alliance Church on Sunday morning you will be met by a greeter who will hand you a bulletin. They can direct you if you have questions or would like to utilize our nursery for your children. We have a Connection Center that has a lot of information about the church, upcoming events, and sign-up sheets for our upcoming activities.
FAQ for First-Time Visitors
Where Should I Park?
The church has plenty of parking spaces available in our parking lot for our services.
What Should I Wear?
Some of our people dress very casually; others dress up with suit jackets. Wear what you feel most comfortable with. We just want you to join us for worship.
What Is There for My Children?
We have nursery and Children's Church available for our families. There is never an expectation that you will send your kids to either. Children are always welcome to sit through the service.
If you would like to use the nursery it is available for babies-3 years old. This is staffed with caring volunteers and parents will be given a pager to take to the service in case your child should need you. The sermon also streams in the nursery, so you can still keep up with the service if you are in with your child.
Children's Church is for ages 3-2nd Grade and begins right before the sermon. The children join in the sanctuary for worship and are dismissed for a time of Bible learning and fun.
We also have coloring sheets in the lobby available for kids each Sunday. There is also a small room off the lobby that streams the service and is a place to participate in the service if you need a quieter space.
