June 24    Psalm 52

Choices always have consequences.  We have choices because God gave us free-will.  At the same time, He is in control and sets the standards to which our choices will be compared and held account to.  People may be able to seem okay in their foolishness for a while, but it will always come to be seen as folly in the end.  

From a worldly perspective- pursuing God and His purposes may seem strange and hard.  Being a Christian will at times be difficult in a fallen world.  When you are feeling challenged to stand strong or like sinners are getting off easy- don't forget you have not reached your destination yet. Choices have consequences- and the consequences of surrendering your life to Christ outweigh anything that world could ever offer.
