God cares for those who are struggling.  He sees them in their sickness. He knows their needs. God does not always care for us in the way we may expect. He doesn't always provide according to our own diagnosis and treatment for the problem.  Remember He is the  "great physician" who knows what the absolute best medicine for what ails us truly is.  
God cares about those who are weak and His followers should as well. We should notice the needs of others and do what God enables us to help people.  We should have regard for the weak.  We should point them to the power and strength that God has to help them.  We also must find ways to be a shoulder to lean on as God works in their lives.
