June 16   Psalm 44

The stories of God must be told.  David is saying we heard the stories of God from our ancestors. The works of God were proclaimed to the new generations so that they too would trust in God.  It is our responsibility as well to tell the stories of God to the next generation.  This is both the Bible accounts and our own personal testimonies of God at work in our lives.

You kids may know what God did in the lives of Noah, Moses, and David; but do they know the story of what God has done for grandpa and grandma/ mom and dad.  God is still at work in the world today and those works need to be spoken about tomorrow so that future generations know our testimony.
