This Psalm is familiar and has influenced worship music even to the current day.  The fact that God's love and faithfulness carries on throughout all generations should not be taken lightly.  The God who worked in the life of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is still at work in your life today.  We should find encouragement in the testimonies of those who have God at work in their life in the past.  We should be seeking and recognizing God's work in our lives today.  We also need to tell the next generation how God was faithful and loved us and that they can have that same kind of relationship with God.  

In what ways has God shown you faithfulness and love over the years?  Let that give you encouragement and hope for today and tomorrow.
